She has firsthand experience using AI to make highly skilled teams dramatically more productive—as well as seeing initiatives increase output without improving outcomes, require more specialized talent than anticipated, or automate processes that should never have been scaled in the first place.

Her perspective is grounded in implementation rather than hype: AI can create extraordinary leverage, but it does not eliminate the need for expertise and judgment. In many cases, it makes exceptional people even more valuable.

Beyond the Boardroom

As a neurodivergent executive, Ashley has spoken about neurodivergence at work and how organizations can better recognize and leverage different ways of thinking. She is also a longtime advocate for women in leadership and greater economic opportunity for women in the workplace.

Her book, How to Be a Corporate Queen, became an international bestseller in four countries and focuses on helping women increase their earning power, advocate for their value and get paid what they deserve.
